The findings from an excavation program conducted by New York University in the renowned ancient city of Lyktos, Crete, are set to be shared with the public. On Monday, July 7, 2025, at 10:30 a.m., the team invites all interested individuals to join a guided tour at the Acropolis of Lyktos, meeting at the Chapel of the Holy Cross. This event presents a prime opportunity for attendees to learn about the significant work being undertaken and to connect with the region’s rich cultural heritage.
The university’s team extends a warm invitation, particularly encouraging residents from the municipalities of Minoan Peadia and Chersonesus, highlighting the invaluable support their involvement provides.
