The General Lyceum of Monemvasia recently welcomed Mr. Massimo Cazzulo, a distinguished philologist from the Liceo Classico Tito Livio in Milan, as part of its Erasmus+ Teaching Assignment program. This initiative aims to foster educational collaboration across Europe, enriching the learning experience for both students and educators.
During his stay from September 12 to 19, 2025, Mr. Cazzulo engaged closely with students and teachers in Ancient Greek, Modern Greek Language and Literature, as well as Latin classes. His active participation facilitated fruitful discussions, the exchange of teaching methodologies, and the creation of a unique learning environment that significantly enhanced the school’s educational atmosphere.
This visit represented a vital opportunity for cultural and pedagogical interaction, highlighting the importance of European partnerships and the value of openness in education. Students were introduced to innovative approaches in the humanities, while teachers benefited from sharing ideas and experiences with their Italian colleague.
