On Wednesday, September 4, at 6:00 PM, the NOVA transmitters located in Vlahiotis and Molai (Koulokhera) ceased operations, leading to significant disruptions for all NOVA mobile phone subscribers. As a result, users have reported an inability to access internet services, with download speeds plummeting to less than 1 Mbps—essentially rendering the internet unusable.
Currently, the only service still operational is voice communication, albeit with a noticeably weakened signal. This situation has raised concerns among subscribers, as many are left without reliable internet access.
In a recent communication with customer service at 13800, representatives stated, “We will send technicians. We do not know when the issues will be resolved. It could be tomorrow or the day after, or it may take several more days.” This uncertainty has left many users anxious about when they can expect a return to normal service.
As of now, it remains unclear if other areas are experiencing similar issues, and the full extent of the outage is still being assessed. Subscribers are encouraged to stay tuned for updates as the situation develops.
