The Peloponnese region is set to enhance its infrastructure with new projects totaling €2.8 million, aimed at improving the road network. These initiatives are designed to bolster road safety, protect against flooding, and enhance the daily lives of residents.
The decision to allocate these funds was made during a meeting of the Peloponnese Regional Committee on July 16, 2025, chaired by Deputy Regional Governor Christos Lampropoulos. The financing will come from the Public Investment Program and local resources.

Arcadia:
- Revitalization projects in Tripoli, Budget: €100,000
- Flood prevention and response through cleaning of streams and rivers, Budget: €300,000
- Flood protection for affected areas with technical interventions in streams and rivers, Budget: €240,000
Corinthia:
- Restoration of damage to the Peloponnese-Patras road network due to natural disasters, Budget: €1,400,000
Laconia:
- Maintenance of technical works within the riverbeds of the Evrota Municipality, Budget: €300,000
- Flood protection in Monemvasia Municipality through cleaning and reconstruction of infrastructure, Budget: €200,000
Argolis:
- Maintenance of national and provincial road networks, Budget: €200,000
Messinia:
- Maintenance and operation services for pumping stations and the Pamissos dam (2025), Budget: €80,000 (including VAT)
