On November 7, 2025, a press conference was held at the historic «Megalo Kafeneio» in Tripoli, marking the completion of the Local LEADER/CLLD Program 2014–2020 by the Parnon Development S.A. This well-structured and successful developmental mechanism has significantly bolstered local entrepreneurship, enhanced social cohesion, and promoted sustainable utilization of the natural and cultural resources of Eastern Peloponnese.
The LEADER/CLLD program mobilized crucial public and private investments, fostering innovative initiatives across various sectors, including tourism, food processing, agriculture, and culture. These efforts have not only created new job opportunities but also spurred local development.
During the press conference, key results and achievements of the program were presented, along with beneficiary stories, and strategic directions for the continuation of LEADER/CLLD in the new programmatic period of 2023–2027. The event served as a public dialogue platform concerning the region’s dynamics and the enhancement of synergies among local stakeholders, the region, and the private sector.

Speakers highlighted the program’s importance as a fundamental development tool for rural and semi-urban areas of Eastern Peloponnese, emphasizing Parnon Development’s role as a reliable implementing and coordinating entity. The necessity for continued collaboration and enhancement of local communities through participatory processes, green investments, and digital transformation was also underlined.
