On December 6, 2025, the enchanting atmosphere of the «Κυμοθόη» Cultural Space in Monemvasia played host to a captivating interactive workshop titled “The First Snows or the Mystery of the Lost Crystals.” Designed as a delightful game suitable for all ages, this workshop was brought to life by the non-profit organization ΘΟΗ, in collaboration with the Cultural Venue KΥΜΟΘΟΗ, with a focus on creating an immersive and magical experience.
The workshop aimed to transport participants into an atmospheric world, characterized by a dominant white theme and clever lighting. Children were tasked with solving a mystery, navigating through various stations guided by an old treasure map leading them to precious white crystals.
As they journeyed, young adventurers encountered stars and white flowers, alongside a fragrant display of freshly laundered linens. Participants were challenged with knowledge-based questions and had to pass through a secret passage before ultimately discovering a treasure. While the material value of this treasure may seem modest—a collection of white-painted stones from the fields of Saint Dimitrios—the excitement it generated was immeasurable.
The workshop was skillfully organized by Maria Zervou and Garyfalaia Kontrafouri, attracting 28 children aged between 3 and 12 years. Special thanks were given to Danai Giannisi for her invaluable assistance in the organization and execution of the event.
This immersive workshop not only fostered creativity and collaboration among the participants but also provided a safe, warm, and magical environment—a setting that children love. Through games and explorations, the event unfolded in a tapestry of imaginative experiences, proving to be a memorable occasion for all involved.
