On January 28, 2026, a prestigious event took place in Rome, Italy, where the PRO PR GLOBE ACHIEVEMENT AWARDS were presented under the theme «World’s Best of the Best.» This recognition, awarded by Apriori World with the support of the World Innovation and Change Management Institute based in Geneva, Switzerland, celebrates achievements in sustainable development and innovation. The awards ceremony was part of the PR ROMAN FORUM, held at the Quirinale Hotel.
A notable aspect of this award process is that nominations are based on recommendations from previous winners and members of five global communication associations: the Public Relations and Communications Association (PRCA), the International Public Relations Association (IPRA), the Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR), the International Communications Consultancy Organisation (ICCO), and the World Communication Forum Association (WCFA). This collaborative approach enhances the credibility and prestige of the awards.
Established in 2012, the PRO PR GLOBE ACHIEVEMENT AWARDS aim to have a global reach, recognizing companies, organizations, and individuals that set positive examples in their fields. The awards highlight innovation, excellence, contributions to local and global communities, advocacy for sustainability, education, and the overall impact of their efforts, inspiring others to follow suit.
This year’s awards included significant recognitions for institutions such as the British Museum in London, the Belgrade Philharmonic Orchestra, the new Grand Egyptian Museum, Alma Mater Europea University in Slovenia, and the National Museum of Art of the Prado in Spain, among others.
Among the distinguished recipients were the Sakellaropoulos Organic Olive Groves, which were nominated by previous winners. After careful evaluation by judges, they received the rare «World’s Best of the Best» award in the Agriculture category. This accolade marks a significant global recognition of the Sakellaropoulos family’s 35-year commitment to innovative agricultural practices and effective campaigns that promote agricultural communication and foster positive change.
This unique award acknowledges the overall contributions and responsible practices of the Sakellaropoulos Organic Olive Groves in promoting green, sustainable development and creating new horizons in olive cultivation and agriculture at large. Notably, this is the first time a Greek individual has been honored in any category at the global PRO PR Globe Achievement Awards.
During the award ceremony at the Quirinale Hotel, George Sakellaropoulos expressed his gratitude, stating, «Today, the 35-year effort of the Sakellaropoulos Organic Olive Groves is rewarded with this rare award. It is indeed a significant moment in our journey, a lifetime award for which I thank you sincerely.» He emphasized their vision of promoting only renewable, sustainable, and green practices, resulting in certified organic olive products that are scientifically validated through clinical studies and research at prestigious institutions worldwide.
He concluded by highlighting that this unique and honorable award not only recognizes their efforts but also honors Greece and his hometown of historic Sparta, as well as the entire Greek olive and agricultural sector.
