Στην Καλαμάτα οι εξετάσεις για Χαρισματικά Παιδιά του Κολλεγίου Ανατόλια

In a significant opportunity for young learners, students from the second grade of primary school to the third grade of junior high will have the chance to participate in innovative educational programs offered by the Center for Talented Youth (CTY) Greece at Anatolia College. The upcoming examinations are scheduled to take place in Kalamata on February 28, 2026, specifically targeting children from Kalamata and its surrounding areas. Registration for these exams will close on February 22, 2026.

Since its inception in 2013, CTY Greece has been dedicated to designing and implementing interactive programs tailored to meet the needs, skills, and interests of children with exceptional academic and cognitive abilities. These programs foster curiosity and a love for learning, creating an engaging environment for gifted students.

CTY Greece operates under the auspices of the Ministry of Education and Culture of Cyprus and is affiliated with the European Council of High Ability (ECHA) and the European Talent Support Network. The program is guided by the expertise of the Center for Talented Youth at Johns Hopkins University, ensuring a high standard of educational quality.

The examination process involves assessments designed by Johns Hopkins University, including the School and College Ability Test (SCAT) for students from second to third grade of junior high, which evaluates language and mathematical reasoning skills. Additionally, the Spatial Test Battery (STB) is available for students from sixth grade to third grade of junior high, focusing on spatial awareness. Students may choose to take either test, with the SCAT available once per academic year and the STB exclusively once.

Successful candidates will not only gain access to a vibrant community of learners but will also be eligible for various scholarships offered by CTY Greece, supported by generous donors. Since the program’s launch, over 8,500 students from third grade to second year of high school across Greece and Cyprus have participated, with a significant number receiving scholarships based on family income, amounting to approximately 53% of all program participants.

For those interested in registering for the examinations, detailed information is available on the CTY Greece website, including course offerings, registration dates, and sample tests. Registered participants will receive comprehensive instructions regarding the examination venue and procedures via email.

For further inquiries, individuals can contact the CTY Greece office at the provided phone numbers or email address. This initiative represents a remarkable step towards nurturing the talents of gifted children, paving the way for their academic and personal growth.
