Ζωντανή παραμένει η μνήμη των Τεμπών στις καρδιές των ανθρώπων – monemvasianews.gr

On February 28, 2026, the memory of the tragic accident in Tempi remains vivid and unaltered, honoring the lives of those who were unjustly lost. This year, once again, a multitude of people gathered in Monemvasia, Neapolis, and Molai, as well as in numerous other cities across Greece, to participate in protests commemorating the 57 victims of the catastrophic train collision.

Three years later, the same Greek citizens continue to mourn for the lives taken too soon, keeping alive the memory of those who unexpectedly departed. The community persistently seeks answers and justice, reflecting a collective demand for accountability.

In a poignant atmosphere, a silent human river flowed through the streets of Monemvasia, as a large crowd gathered to honor the memory of the 57 deceased from the Tempi train disaster. The participants called for a state that respects its citizens and upholds the rule of law.

With slogans such as «Spring stopped at Tempi» and «They never arrived – We will not forget you,» the demonstrators united their thoughts and emotions with those who protested in every corner of Greece. They emphasized the importance of not letting the tragedy fade from memory and insisted on justice for the innocent lives that are no longer with us.

This gathering serves not only as a remembrance but also as a powerful reminder of the community’s resilience and the ongoing quest for justice, ensuring that the voices of the lost are never silenced.
