The 14th Vatikiotikos Race is set to make a vibrant return to Neapolis on Sunday, May 3, 2026, inviting runners of all ages and skill levels to partake in a unique experience. This event is organized by the Neapolis High School, the 1st Vocational School of Voi, the Neapolis Gymnasium, and the Neapolis Primary School, in collaboration with the Peloponnese Region and the Municipality of Monemvasia.

This certified 10-kilometer route is designed to ensure safety, validity, and competitive interest. Runners will be supported by hydration stations and medical coverage along the course, with intermediate timing for accurate performance tracking. The 1,600 m race invites everyone—children, families, and sports enthusiasts—to join in a celebration of joy and movement. Participants are required to finish within a one-hour time limit. The start for all races will be in front of the Merchant Marine Academy of Laconia.
