In a remarkable achievement for Greek agriculture, the Sakellaropoulos organic olive groves have excelled at the prestigious AIPO D’ARGENTO 2026 competition held in Verona, Italy, from April 18 to 26, 2026. The groves proudly secured first, second, and third places in both the table olives and gourmet olive oil categories, solidifying their status as the standout champions with a total of thirty accolades.
This outstanding performance not only showcases the high quality of Greek olive production but also represents a significant milestone in international olive cultivation, as clinching all three top positions in a single category is an extraordinary accomplishment. The competition this year set a new record, with over 500 entries from various olive-producing countries, underscoring the growing global interest in this event and the rigorous evaluation methods employed for olive oils.
The Sakellaropoulos olive groves earned notable awards, including the first prize for their Masterpiece Blend EVOO and Kalamon Organic Olives. Additionally, they achieved second place with the Armonia Organic EVOO and Goccia D’ Oro for Natural Unripe Olives, and third place with their Treasure Blend EVOO and Goccia D’ Oro for Pinned Olives.
In the gourmet olive oil and table olive categories, several other products from the Sakellaropoulos line were honored with Goccia D’ Oro awards, including Flavored Gourmet Enigma and OLEOASTRON Gourmet EVOO, emphasizing the broad appeal and exceptional quality of their offerings.
In a particularly competitive segment where Italian and Spanish brands often dominate, the Sakellaropoulos organic olive groves managed to secure recognition in the blend and premium extra virgin olive oil category as well, with five of their products receiving awards, further solidifying their place on the global stage.

Furthermore, the AIPO D’ARGENTO 2026 event marked a cumulative total of 1,283 international awards for the Sakellaropoulos olive groves, a staggering figure that reinforces their commitment to excellence in olive oil production and serves as a testament to their ongoing success in prestigious international contests around the world.
