This esteemed international olive oil competition took place in Tokyo from May 23 to May 28, 2026, and is recognized globally for its rigorous evaluation standards, which adhere to the tasting methods established by the International Olive Council.
This year, the competition featured 700 olive oils from 26 olive-producing countries, including Spain, Croatia, Greece, Italy, Portugal, Tunisia, the USA, Turkey, Israel, and others, showcasing an exceptionally high level of quality.
The Sakellaropoulos organic olive groves were honored with ten awards in categories for exceptional extra virgin and gourmet olive oils. Notable accolades included:
