In the picturesque town of Monemvasia, preparations are in full swing for the 2nd Festival of Laconian Products, set to take place from August 1 to 3, 2025. This vibrant event will be held along the coastal road of the Tourist Pavilion, promising a delightful experience for both locals and visitors.
The festival is a collaborative effort involving the Chamber of Lakonia, the Region of Peloponnese, the Municipality of Monemvasia, and the Parnon Development Company. This partnership highlights the importance of cooperation among various entities to benefit the local community, showcasing and strengthening the region’s productive capabilities.
Under the coordination of the Chamber of Lakonia, the festival also receives support from the Peloponnese Union of Municipalities, as well as the municipalities of Sparta and Eurotas, and the Chambers of Commerce in the Peloponnese region.
Attendees can look forward to an engaging program that includes:
- Events focused on entrepreneurship
- Live cooking demonstrations featuring local products, with renowned chef Dina Nikolaou and her team
- Musical and dance performances
- A celebration marking the 90th anniversary of the Chamber of Lakonia, along with the presentation of a commemorative album titled “Chamber of Lakonia: 1935-2025, 90 Years of History, a Pillar of Development for Small and Medium Enterprises”
The festival aims to promote Laconian production, enhance the agri-food sector, and encourage entrepreneurship at both local and regional levels.
