In June 2026, educators from the General High School of Monemvasia engaged in two mobility actions under the European Erasmus+ program (project code: 2025-1-EL01-KA121-SCH-000323234). Traveling to two different European countries, they received training on modern and critical educational issues: the utilization of digital tools and artificial intelligence in teaching, as well as the integration of sustainable development into the curriculum.
First Mobility Action – Vilnius, Lithuania
“Gamification in Education”
Teachers Paraskevi Syridakou, Matina Tzerefou, and Zoe Tyriditou participated in a training seminar organized by IVAIGO in Vilnius, Lithuania, from June 15 to 19, 2026. This initiative fostered an environment of international collaboration, bringing together educators from Malta and Italy.

“Sustainability in Education: SDGs, Climate Action, and Green Schools”
Teachers Giorgos Grimpilas and Christos Papoulis attended a seminar focused on Sustainable Development and the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the UN, organized by the Plus Project European Academy in Malaga, Spain, from June 22 to 26, 2026. This event provided a fertile ground for European collaboration among educators.

Third Action – Dissemination of Results
Internal Training for Educators – Monemvasia
Upon returning, the participating educators from Vilnius and Malaga conducted an internal training session for their colleagues from the High School and Gymnasium of Monemvasia on June 29, 2026. This dissemination action is an integral part of the Erasmus+ program, ensuring that the benefits of the training extend throughout the entire school community.
