The newly established Cancer Patients and Friends Association of Monemvasia and surrounding areas, named “CanShare,” continues its mission of raising awareness and support within the community. This initiative is gaining momentum, highlighting the pressing need for such support in today’s society.
On Sunday, November 2, 2025, the association visited the picturesque village of Reihia, aiming to spread the word about its purpose and the valuable work it undertakes. This event also provided an opportunity for new members to join, fostering hope and a brighter future for the organization. In the welcoming environment of the local primary school, representatives engaged with residents, sharing thoughts, experiences, and initiatives.
In a heartfelt announcement, the association expressed gratitude to the residents, the Municipal Community, and the Cultural Association of Reihia for their “warm embrace and support.” They emphasized the importance of community solidarity, stating, “The battle against cancer is never solitary when there is love and support.”
