The organizing team of KALLIERGON syn is proud to announce an upcoming event as part of the extensive cultural initiative «Poetic Roads» in Kalamata, running from October 11 to November 15, 2025. Just after the commencement of this enriching festival, the first parallel activity will take place.
On Monday, October 13, and Wednesday, October 15, 2025, the city of Kalamata will host a two-day conference dedicated to the renowned author Nikos Kazantzakis. The event, titled «Approaching the Odyssey of Nikos Kazantzakis,» will be held at the Research Center of the Messinia GAC, located at Aristodimou 22, from 18:00 to 21:00.
The conference will feature esteemed speaker Kostas Chalkias, who will lead discussions aimed at deepening understanding of Kazantzakis’s iconic work.
Participation in the event is free, but space is limited to a maximum of 25 attendees. To ensure a spot, interested individuals must register through email.
