On Sunday, March 29, 2028, an engaging event titled «Without Addictions» took place at the Old Municipal School of Neapolis, starting at 18:30. This significant gathering was organized by the cultural association of Vatika in collaboration with several local organizations, including:
- The Cultural Association of Agios Nikolaos, Kambos, and Agioi Apostoloi
- The Parents and Guardians Association of Kindergartens, Primary School, Gymnasium, and General Lyceum of Neapolis
- The Artistic Association «Techni Chro»
- The Nautical Club of Voi
- The Social Cooperative Enterprise THYMBRI
The event featured notable speakers, including:
- Panagiotis Lymberis, Chief of the Crime Investigation Department of Laconia, who addressed the topic: «Drugs and Alcohol: Legislation – Semiology.»
- Katerina Kargakou, Social Worker and Scientific Supervisor of the Prevention Center of N. Laconia «Diavlos,» who spoke on «Addiction and Adolescence.»
The speakers aimed to convey the concept of human addiction, particularly among youth, discussing its impact on daily life and movement, as well as strategies for control, management, and the path to a Life Without Addictions.
