In the picturesque town of Monemvasia, a unique opportunity for children is on the horizon. The non-profit organization THOI, in collaboration with the cultural space KYMOTHOI, is set to host an engaging workshop titled “The First Snows or The Mystery of the White Crystals.” This event promises to be a delightful experience for young minds, blending creativity with adventure.
The workshop will be divided into two age groups to ensure a tailored experience for all participants. The first session, from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM, is designed for children aged 3 to 5 years, while the second session, from 6:15 PM to 7:30 PM, caters to those aged 6 to 12 years. Each group will accommodate a maximum of 15 children, allowing for an intimate and interactive environment.
Participants will embark on a journey through an atmospheric landscape dominated by the color white, where they will engage in games that play with light. Guided by an ancient map, children will navigate through various stations, ultimately leading them to uncover the precious white crystals hidden within the workshop’s enchanting setting.
The workshop will be facilitated by Maria Zervou, a theater educator known for her ability to inspire and engage young audiences. The cost to participate is 10 euros, a small fee that contributes to a greater cause. All proceeds from this event will be allocated towards the planning of an Artistic Youth Festival, aimed at fostering creativity and artistic expression among the youth of the community.
