In a remarkable achievement that underscores the commitment to quality and excellence in olive oil production, the Sakellaropoulos organic olive groves have returned from Japan with an impressive nine accolades. Their success comes from participation in the prestigious Japan Olive Oil Prize 2025, which took place in Tokyo from June 9 to June 18, 2025. This competition is globally recognized for its rigorous evaluation standards, making these awards particularly significant.
The competition featured 578 olive oils from 28 olive-producing countries, including Spain, Croatia, Greece, Italy, Portugal, Tunisia, the United States, Turkey, and Israel, all showcasing exceptionally high quality. Among the competitors, the Sakellaropoulos olive groves stood out, securing an impressive collection of two gold medals and seven silver ones, with some of their products achieving scores as high as 95%.
Highlighting their exceptional products, the Sakellaropoulos olive groves received gold awards for their TREASURE Blend EVOO and SYLLEKTIKON Gourmet EVOO. Furthermore, they garnered silver awards for several other distinguished oils, including:

In a statement, George Sakellaropoulos emphasized that these accolades represent another significant recognition for the Sakellaropoulos organic olive groves from Sparta, Laconia. He noted that the positive evaluations from specialist judges attest to the innovative and limited-production oils that have once again been recognized on a global stage.
Additionally, these nine prestigious awards contribute to an extraordinary total of 1,159 international accolades received by the Sakellaropoulos olive groves, a record number that continues to evolve and set new benchmarks in the industry.
