On Sunday, May 26, 2026, the community of Plytra will come together for an important cause as the «Fasma Zois» Association hosts its second annual awareness-raising event for Autism. This year’s event, titled «Act for Autism, Run with Fasma Zois,» promises to be a vibrant gathering aimed at promoting understanding and support for individuals on the autism spectrum.
The event will kick off from the town square, featuring two main races designed to engage participants of all ages. The first race, a 5,000-meter run, is scheduled to begin at 10:30 AM and is open to adults. Following this, a shorter 1,000-meter race for children will commence at 11:15 AM, allowing younger participants to join in the fun and contribute to the cause.
Participants interested in joining the races and securing an official event t-shirt can reach out via the provided contact numbers: 697 481 1919 and 697 240 6204. This initiative not only promotes physical activity but also fosters a sense of community and solidarity in supporting autism awareness.
The «Fasma Zois» Association extends its heartfelt gratitude to the numerous sponsors who have made this event possible, as well as to «Himikrono Sport» for generously providing the start/finish arch at no cost. This collaboration highlights the community’s commitment to raising awareness and supporting those affected by autism.
As the event approaches, it serves as a reminder of the importance of inclusivity and understanding within our society. Mark your calendars for this significant day, and consider participating in a race that not only promotes health and fitness but also champions a vital cause.
