The Peloponnese Wine Festival, a well-established annual event for the Athenian wine community, is set to return on Monday, January 19, 2026, at the Aigli Zappiou, from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM. This year’s festival will shine a spotlight on the dynamic producers of the Peloponnese, showcasing its historic wine regions and the wines that represent Greece’s largest and most iconic vineyard.
Breaking previous records, this year’s event will feature 55 wineries, providing visitors with a unique opportunity to explore the diversity, modern winemaking identity, and boundless potential of the Peloponnese. Attendees will have the chance to taste wines from the region’s characteristic varieties—such as Agiorgitiko, Moschofilero, Roditis, Mavrodaphne, and Kydonitsa—presented in styles that blend deep tradition with contemporary creativity. The new generation of producers will make a strong presence, bringing fresh aesthetics, innovative ideas, and brand-new winemaking approaches. Among the exhibitors, some wineries will be introduced to the Athenian public for the first time, offering a real-time snapshot of the current state of Peloponnesian wine.
Parallel Activity – Unfolding the Value: A Selection Under €12
