A unique photographic journey is currently unfolding in the central cobblestone streets of the medieval town of Monemvasia, centered around the theme of the Full Moon. This original exhibition features seven large-scale photographs by the talented photographer Christos Panagiotopoulos, strategically displayed at six stations along the main path. Each station showcases a single photograph, except for the final sixth station, which presents two of the artist’s works.
Each piece in this exhibition captures the essence of the Full Moon as experienced in a profound connection with the historic town of Monemvasia. The artist’s meticulous and sensitive approach, honed through years of research, allows visitors to immerse themselves in the living, timeless essence of this unique medieval settlement. Every stop along the way offers a distinct experience, with each snapshot representing a world of its own and a subtle invitation for deeper engagement.
The journey begins at the «Hypatia» store, just after the main gate of the Castle, and continues through various stations along the central path, including the «Venetian café,» «Vathisfero café,» «Galera» ice cream shop, «Myrtaki street food,» and «Bastione Malvasia café.»
